What a way to end the week! Pitcher Angela Barkman struck out five and picked up the win for GC. What looked like a great start to a four-game road trip to Tennessee quickly faded in Game 2 when three extra innings were needed to decide the contest. In the bottom of the tenth, Hiwassee’s Brittany Hollfield hit a homerun to help the Tigers escape with a 2 – 0 win.
