She began her collegiate career as a standout shortstop at
Eureka College, in Eureka, IL. Coach Hattermann provided
a solid force to the Red Devil softball program. She was
named to the All-NIIC Conference and NAIA Great Lakes All
Section First Team as a shortstop as well as the All-NIIC
Academic All-Conference Team. She was also a finalist for
the prestigous NCAA Woman of the Year Award in 1997.

She was inducted to the EC Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002
as an individual. Quite impressively, she still ranks
the top 10 for the following career statistics categories
at Eureka College: 1st for runs scored, hits, doubles,
and assists; 2nd in RBI's, 4th in batting average; 5th in
stolen bases and homeruns, and 8th in triples. She was

2004 as a member of the 1996 softball team.

After receiving her B.S. in Athletic Training, Coach
Hattermann pursued her Master of Science degree in
Exercise Science at The University of Mississippi. While
at Ole Miss, she served as a graduate instructor and a
volunteer assistant coach for the Lady Rebels softball
team.
