GEORGIA HERO SCHOLARSHIP

The Georgia HERO (Helping Educate Reservists and their Offspring) Scholarship Program provides educational assistance to members of the Georgia National Guard and U.S. military reservists who served in combat zones on or after May 3, 2005 or the children of such members.

Gordon students who feel they may qualify for the scholarship should:

  1. Print and complete PART A of the Georgia "HERO Scholarship Program Application"
  2. Submit the Application along with all required eligibility documentation (see Application) to the Gordon College Financial Aid Office.

As directed by the Georgia Student Finance Committee (GSFC), we then review your application for completeness. If it appears to be complete, we certify Part B and forward your application and documentation to the GSFC for their approval or disapproval.
