Other Important Registration information for Financial Aid Students
All students who receive scholarships or financial aid (including loans) must follow these procedures. The fee payment regulations and deadlines in the previous sections also apply to financial aid students.
Financial aid must be officially awarded. To be awarded financial aid and/or a scholarship, you must meet all appropriate deadlines and regulations and have the award(s) credited to your account. Please be aware that if you fail to meet the appropriate deadlines, the awarding of your financial aid may be delayed. If your award is delayed, you will have to pay your tuition and fees "out of pocket" with personal funds. If financial aid is awarded at a later date, you will be reimbursed up to the amount of your award. Consult the Office of Financial Aid (Lambdin Hall, Room 224, 678-359–5990) if you have questions about your award.
Caution: If during the Drop/Add period, you reduce the number of semester hours you are taking, your financial aid award will be adjusted. It is possible that you will owe additional amounts from personal funds.
Applied Music is a private lesson. Students taking applied music classes are charged a separate fee in addition to regular tuition and fees for their other classes. Students cannot use these one-credit applied music courses to meet full-time (12 hour) status to receive full financial aid.
