Welcome to Gordon College.
You're about to discover a vibrant campus full of educational opportunities nestled in the quaint town of Barnesville. For those of you who are old friends, get ready to rediscover Gordon College as it continues to flourish.
Gordon College is a learning community that cares. Here, students get an excellent education and a complete college experience within a community where people look out for each other.
Our faculty know students by their names; students forge relationships with each other that often last a lifetime; and alumni continue to visit campus for celebrations and events. And members of the community take part in learning opportunities offered on campus.
This collective activity makes Gordon College a special place. And while we have a proud history, we're also building a bright future for our College.
In 2005 Gordon College was designated a state college offering not only associate degrees but also bachelor's degrees. Our first bachelor's degree program, early childhood education, graduated its first class in 2009. We have added bachelor's degrees in nursing, history, English, mathematics and in December 2011, awarded our first bachelor degrees in biology.
Next year our offerings will increase with courses leading to a degree in health services and informatics administration.
