The school's enrollment is approximately 3,700 students. Of those, 1,034 reside on campus, the largest number in the school's history.
Tonya Coleman, director of residence life, said move-in weekend went very smoothly.
"We had the times for freshmen and sophomores spread out so it was less confusing our for first time students and more relaxed for returning resident students," Coleman said.
Classes began Monday.
