Jenni Bryant has been awarded a scholarship from the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.
Through the Coca-Cola Two-Year Colleges Scholarship Program, the Foundation awards a total of 400 scholarships annually to students attending higher-education institutions granting two-year degrees. All recipients have demonstrated academic success and participated in community service within the past year.
Bryant, a resident of Griffin, is a pre-pharmacy student and is employed at CVS in Griffin. She and her husband, Tim, a restaurant manager, have two children. She plans to begin pharmacy school soon.
"I decided to study pharmacy because of a health crisis my mother is facing," Bryant said. "I hope to work in a store setting after pharmacy school."
Dan Jackson, who recently retired from Gordon College, nominated Jenni Bryant for the Coca-Cola Scholarship. Jackson was Bryant's chemistry professor.
