A memorial service and tree dedication ceremony was held recently on the Gordon College campus to remember Margaret O'Dell Baxter, a faculty member who managed the math lab and tutored students.
Baxter died last October.
Attending the service were several family members, friends and many members of the staff and faculty at Gordon College. Sue O'Neal, financial aide counselor at Gordon College, spoke movingly of her friend while surrounded by a cadre of childhood friends. Gordon College President Lawrence Weill also addressed the group.
