Fifteen students ages 9-12 are participating in the week-long Science Wow! day camp at Gordon College.
The students, led by instructor Patricia Prince, are learning about nocturnal animals, dissecting owl pellets, making slime and participating in other hands-on experiments that allow them to explore the world of biology, physics and chemistry.
Bradden Webb of Monroe County said he enjoyed dissecting the owl pellet which revealed small bones, fur and other regurgitated remnants of an owl's most recent meal.
