GORDON E-MAIL ON A BLACKBERRY PHONE

To setup a Blackberry for access to Gordon email...

  1. First, follow instructions to "Log in to the BlackBerry Internet Service web site" from the URL http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC
    &docType=kc&externalId=KB03781    . (NOTE: Verizon users will use the URL https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw&locale=en to create an account)
  2. Next, follow instructions to "Associate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access email account with a BlackBerry Internet Service account" from the URL http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC
    &docType=kc&externalId=KB03133     using the information below for step 7:
    1. Outlook Web Access URL: https://pegasus.gdn.edu/owa/.
    2. User Name: Your Gordon network username. For example, if your Gordon email address is ab123456@gdn.edu, the username would be ab123456
    3. Password: Enter your current network password. NOTE: as your Gordon network password expires and is reset, you will need to update this password with your new network password.
    4. Email address: Enter your full Gordon email address. For example, ab123456@gdn.edu
    5. Mailbox name: Enter your Gordon network username again
Q: What about POP3 or IMAP email servers?
A: Due to security concerns, Gordon College at this time does not provide access to email using the POP3 or IMAP email protocols.
