PARKING & VEHICLE REGISTRATION
Any vehicle parked on campus must have a permit. Temporary passes are available for a two week period. Gordon College now uses an online permit registration system. To register cars, students must access BOSSCARS through Banner Web. Permits may be obtained at the Public Safety Office located at Gordon Hall.

Temporary Permit is free and may be obtained from Public Safety in Gordon Hall.
Permitted Parking
All vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas. Faculty and Staff parking is set aside with GREEN parking space lines and marked "F/S". The Visitor's Lot is located on College Drive and is restricted for visitors only. Faculty, staff, and students parking in the Visitor's Parking Lot are guilty of a parking violation.
Parking is organized by Lots as follows:
- Melton Hall, Commons , Lots "A" and "B" are for resident students ONLY.
- Lots C, D, and E are for commuter students.
- Watson Hall and Memorial Hall are for faculty, staff and other GC employees.
- Visitors may park in Lots A or B, or in designated visitor parking areas.
Student parking is provided in the following locations:
- Alumni Memorial Hall (gym), east and west sides.
- Academic Building Lot "E", entrance of Spencer Street.
- Athletic Complex
- Residence Hall Parking Lots are provided for each Residence Hall. Faculty, Staff or Students that are not assigned to a Residence Hall Lot may not use these parking areas. Only those students assigned to a specific Residence Hall may use the parking lot adjacent to that hall.

Disabled Spaces
Gordon College is required by state law to reserve handicap parking spaces for the permanently disabled. State law 40-6-226 established the fine for illegally parking in a handicap zone up to $500.00. Disabled students with vehicles bearing state disabled tags may park in designated areas. In case of temporary disabilities, students should contact the Public Safety Office, Gordon Hall at 770. 358. 5101 for special parking arrangements.
Visitors
Visitors to the Gordon College Campus may park for limited periods of time in any space marked for visitors. In the event a visitor receives a ticket, that person should provide visitor information on the front of the ticket and call or return it to Public Safety.
Vehicle Registration
All faculty, staff and students who operate and/or park a vehicle on campus are required to register with the Department of Public Safety and display a current registration permit. Failure to register a vehicle or properly display a permit will result in a fine of $20 for each violation incurred.
STUDENTS: Register your car online through Banner Web - BOSSCARS. Then, obtain your permit at the Department of Public Safety, Gordon Hall.
EMPLOYEES: Register your vehicle at Gordon Hall.
The following information is needed:
- Name
- Address
- Year, Make, Model, Color of Vehicle
- License Number (tag) and State
- Status: i.e., Student, Faculty, Staff
The parking permit for motor vehicles consists of a pressure sensitive permit placed on the left rear window of automobiles and on the front fork of motorcycles and motorbikes.
Registration is not complete until the permit is properly and permanently affixed to the vehicle.
Temporary Registration
Persons driving a replacement vehicle may obtain a temporary permit from Public Safety. Permits are issued for up to two weeks.
Medical Temporary Permit
Persons with temporary medical conditions which limit walking distance may obtain a special limited permit. Contact Public Safety for information.
