POLITICAL SCIENCE

An Associate of Arts Degree in Political Science will provide you with a foundation for pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and lead you toward a general understanding of the complex factors that influence human behavior. Graduates have pursued careers in a wide variety of areas, ranging from teaching to law to business to public service and beyond.

Advising Notes

  • Political Science 1102, 2201, and 2301 must be used to satisfy Area F requirements.
  • Political Science 2401 can be used to satisfy either Area F or Area E requirements.
  • Students with credit for SPAN 1001 and/or SPAN 1002 cannot receive credit for SPAN 1060; Students with credit for SPAN 1060 cannot receive credit for SPAN 1001 and/or  SPAN 1002.
  • Students who started at Gordon College before Fall, 2007, should consult their advisor regarding Area C requirements.
  • An Area F credit hour in excess of eighteen, resulting from MATH 1113, can be applied to Area B.
