Gordon College

HUMANITIES

The mission of Gordon College's Division of Humanities is to improve each student's foundation skills in writing, reading, and research while developing the knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of English, foreign languages, and the arts.

Gordon College offers Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees through the college transfer program. This program is designed to allow students to complete the first two years of coursework leading to a baccalaureate degree. After graduation from Gordon, the program allows students to transfer their coursework to another University System of Georgia institution, continue studies for an additional two years, and receive the baccalaureate degree.

You can find more information about our academic programs in the Gordon College Academic Catalog.

The Humanities Division also hosts the Gordon College Writing Center, an excellent resource for all students who wish to get help with writing for any class.
