HUMANITIES, FINE + PERFORMING ARTS

The mission of Gordon College's Division of Humanities is to celebrate the diverse expression of human emotion, thought, imagination, creativity and discovery by improving each student's foundation in writing, reading, performance and research through art, literature, music, theater, foreign languages, English, communication and philosophy.

Gordon College offers Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees through the college transfer program. This program is designed to allow students to complete the first two years of coursework leading to a baccalaureate degree. After graduation from Gordon, the program allows students to transfer their coursework to another University System of Georgia institution, continue studies for an additional two years, and receive the baccalaureate degree.
