ADVISING IN THE DIVISION OF HUMANITIES

Getting good advice is important to a student's academic success. Your faculty advisor helps you stay on track in choosing your courses and academic path, answers questions about academic policies, and helps you deal with the challenges of college.

New students are advised during orientation. Once a student begins attending classes, they are assigned advisors. Students with Learning Support requirements must make completion of those requirements their first priority.

Continuing students must meet with their advisors each semester before they can register for classes.

Students who do not have Reading or English Learning Support requirements must sign up for the Regents' Test in their first semester.
