COLLEGE CHORUS
The Gordon College Chorus studies and performs choral literature suitable for college choral ensembles through rehearsal and concerts. Styles studied include masterworks from the Renaissance, Baroque, Viennese-Classical, Romantic and 20th Century style periods, spirituals, multicultural/world music, and some contemporary literature. Recent repertoire includes choruses for Handel's Messiah, Vivaldi's Gloria, and John Rutter's Requiem. In addition to a major concert near the conclusion of the semester, performance opportunities include Visitation Days, church services, community events, and Gordon's Academic Contest.
