Pianists Elena Martin and José Melitón hold the distinctive Titulo Superior de Piano from the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música of Madrid, the highest performance degree obtainable in Spain, as well as master's degrees in piano performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Their championing of Spanish duo-piano repertoire has especially met enthusiastic response. These young pianists play this music with such Spanish flair that anyone hearing it would realize that they know its style intimately.
