Gordon Georgia Youth Science & Technology Center

Founded in 1989, Georgia Youth Science & Technology Centers, Inc. (GYSTC) is a private, non-profit educational organization designed to increase interest and enthusiasm in science, mathematics and the technologies, particularly among elementary and middle school teachers and students in typically underserved areas in the state. The Gordon GYSTC, located on the lovely campus of Gordon College in Barnesville, Georgia serves the following counties: Butts, Jasper, Jones, Pike, Lamar, and Monroe.

This club provides the tutors in areas of Science, Mathematics, and English to obtain the knowledge and training that is needed to serve the students better in their job in the Student Success Center. This club allows students to further their knowledge through training, workshops, conferences, and other events sponsored by the Success Center.

Veteran Support Group (VSG)

To provide services and guidance to fellow veterans and their families by assisting in the transition to life as a Gordon College student, promote veteran awareness to students and staff of Gordon College, and provide outreach service to current veterans serving overseas and the disabled veterans in the local community.
