STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE
The University System of Georgia has partnered with insurance company Pearce & Pearce to offer health insurance to all USG students. There are two types of plans - mandatory and voluntary. All nursing students and some international students fall under the mandatory plan and must be insured. Mandatory insurance charges $379 for fall and $501 including rider for summer/spring will appear on student bills unless a waiver is obtained by the affected students. Waivers will be granted if students already have health insurance that meets Pearce & Pearce's criteria. Voluntary plans may be obtained by any Gordon College student and may include coverage for dependents.
