STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER

The Gordon College Success and Retention Center is committed to helping our students achieve academic and personal success. Our mission is to support students at any level and of any ability in their course work and in the development of personal skills that will help them achieve their academic and life goals. To that end, we offer drop-in tutoring for both writing and math, along with a series of academic success/personal skills workshops—all free of charge. Students may use the thirty computers available in the Center for academic purposes. In addition, Gordon College's Minority Advising Program (MAP) is based in the Success and Retention Center. We are located on the second floor of the beautiful new Student Success Building, above the Gordon College Bookstore. We can help!

The Writing Center supports students in all aspects of the writing process. Our primary goal is to provide a learning space in which all students in the College can receive one-on-one tutorial assistance from trained, qualified peer tutors.
The Math Lab offers help to students in all the math courses offered at the College. Experienced professional and peer tutors work with students one-on-one and in small groups, with the ultimate goal of empowering students to find their own solutions to problems.
Minority Advising Program is an achievement-based program designed to facilitate the transition to college for minority students.
Advising for Students Gordon College understands the importance of academic advising to help students reach their educational and career goals. Learn more by reviewing the online advising notes under your program of study.
